I am a wife and stay-at-home mom of 2 teenagers. I've been married to my wonderful, handsome hubby for 21 years. I live right in the middle of the Missouri and have lived around that area for my entire life. My family and I live on 50 acres with 2 lakes way out in the boonies.

I have been creating things since I was 15 when my grandmother taught me how to cross stitch. I can never just sit idly by even when watching TV. I've always got something in my hands that I am working on. I love to cross stitch, crochet, needle felt, and make penny rugs.

My favorite past time is to be outside working in the flower beds or the garden. I am an avid reader and I hate to say it, but I am also addicted to reality TV.

I really think that crafting primitive, country pieces helps me keep my sanity.

My name is Suzanne and I am an Etsyaholic. I was born in New Jersey, and my creativity started at a young age when my grandmother taught me how to sew. I graduated from Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and became a Lingerie Designer. I continued until I had children, Melissa, my daughter who is “Pookie”, a nickname we gave her as a baby, and my son Nicholas. Pookie and I run the shop together. Jack was pookie’s first cat who unexpectedly passed last December, but his memory lives on with our shop,
We moved to Fort Lauderdale,Florida in 1985, then to Dana Point, California in 2001, and lastly to Las Vegas in 2005. Currently I work at Macy’s, where I am a jewelry merchandiser.
I have been married twice to my wonderful husband Frank, who encourages me every day to continue to create.
I enjoy spending time on Etsy and the challenge to continually improve our shop. I feel so blessed to have met so many wonderful new and supportive friends on the ForgetMeNot team!

A little about myself, first the name of my shop AlyssaBeth’s is a combination of my name and my step-daughter’s name. I’m a very lucky woman; I have a wonderful husband and two beautiful step-children, 2 ancient cats and 3 rescue dogs that all bring joy and happiness into my life each and every day.

My love of anything Vintage, antique and lovingly tattered lead me to not only collect, but also share great finds with you, as well as my handcrafted Romantic Vintage Inspired Jewelry, great Flea Market finds, hand crafted gift tags, hans stamped muslin ribbons and French Shabby Chic Decor.
